I'm currently looking for a sulphate free shampoo and I think I've found a good cone-free conditioner.

I use rhassoul to wash my hair. You can buy it at those natural food stores (Natuurwinkel etc.) I also know Avalon Organics is sold at De Tuinen. They also sell other lines carrying sulfate-free shampoos and cone-free conditioners and styling products. Just check the ingredients lists.... some product lines are more 'natural' than others. Anyway, don't buy your stuff from The Body Shop. They use natural ingredients but at the same time they put high amounts of sulfates, cones and parabens and cheap druggstore brands do. Same story with Aveda. Don't let the sign 'natural' mislead you.

Hope you can find something that works for you. By the way, there was this tread somewhere with other Dutch people... Really don't know where they went...

Ik gebruik KCCC en ben er erg tevreden over, binnenkort krijg ik een grote bestelling binnen van nc.com en daar zit onderandere ook de DevaCare low-poo bij. Benieuwd wat mijn haar daarvan vindt!

Hier nog een Nederlander... Leuk leuk...

Ik ken geen sulfaat vrije shampo's in Nederland.. Alhoewel volgens mij is er een merk wat verkocht wordt bij de tuinen.. Maar ik weet niet hoe het heet. Ik geloof een witte fles met rood etiket ofzo.

Verder zijn de witte en roze palmolive cremespoelings heel geschikt om mee te cowassen. Meestal vind je deze alleen bij de supermarkt en iet bij de drogist. Ook de conditioner van inecto. Te koop bij etos, kruitvat enzo.

Leuke site he.. Ik ben hier zo blij mee... Als ik iets wil weten gebruik ik de zoekfunctie en er komen zo tig draadjes waar je genoeg informatie vind.
Ik vind het alleen wel lastig om soms te weten wat ze bedoeling. Bijv. bang en clumping, coarse enzo.. Dan denk ik echt hmmm wat zou dat nou kunnen zijn.

Hello all,

Apologies for posting in English, but I am not yet proficient in Dutch! I recently relocated to the Netherlands from the UK.

I need to find a good stylist/salon here to trust with cutting my curly hair. Any suggestions? I live just North of Amsterdam, but am quite flexible to travel somewhere other than Amsterdam if that's where a trusted stylist is.

Dr. Organic is volgens mij ook sulfaat vrij, is te koop bij De Tuinen.
Zelf gebruik ik de Inecto conditioner voor CO, en heb net Yes to Tomatoes en Yes to Cucumbers gekocht om uit te proberen.
Verder bestel ik weleens in Engeland of in Amerika.

Hi Shelz78, welcome to the Netherlands! As far as I know there are no hairdressers that do Deva cut, but you should Google for a Salon that cuts CurlSys. CurlSys is a method from an English curly hairdresser. There are not a lot of curly hairdressers here and prizes may vary up to €26! I go to Berty's Hairstyling in Zeist. But I'm sure you'll find one in Amsterdam as well, since it's our capital city

wat leuk, Nederlanders! Super handig deze site, vooral omdat binnen Nederland nog niet zo heel veel bekend is over deze geweldige haar methode! Rapunzel4ever, heb jij goede ervaringen met Curlsys knippen? Ik wil het binnenkort eenmalig gaan proberen bij een kapper die supergoed aangeschreven staat in mijn woonplaats

Silicoonvrije conditioners bestel ik vooral op de curly hair shop, krullen & enzo en op Mariposa import. Ook bestel ik wel 'es wat op de amazon site van de UK

Bij de tuinen heb je een range die Dr Organics heet, prijzig maar CG vriendelijk! wat gebruiken jullie als was conditioner?

Zitten jullie ook al op de "wavy hair community" op facebook. daar zitten allemaal mensen met Wavy haar (en sommige met krultype 3) staan super goede tips op, en als je een vraag hebt krijg je ook super goede adviezen van de leden daar.

Hey Joos, ik heb goede ervaring met CurlSys knippen (ik ga in Zeist, zoals ik al schreef). In Tiel zit ook een goede, hoorde ik van een vriendin, maar die vind ik persoonlijk te duur om uit te proberen.

Die wavy community op fb ken ik niet, maar ik zal zeker eens kijken.

Wat conditioner was betreft, ik was met Curl Junkie Daily Fix. Deze is vrij dik en met mijn low porosity (weinig poreus) haar is het vaak prettiger deze iets met water te verdunnen.
Wat ik ook wel doe is mijn haren eerst bevochtigen, dan een zelfgemaakte mix erin die mijn haren reinigt én zacht maakt terwijl ik het in laat werken en dan goed uitspoel.

Deze mix bestaat uit:
3 (à 4) el Kruidvat crèmevoeding
1 el acaciahoning, dan goed mengen en
1 el Aloë Vera gel toevoegen

Als mijn haren té zacht dreigen te worden, gebruik ik in de mix 2 el Kruidvat crèmevoeding en 2 el Inecto cocos conditioner. En dan natuurlijk de honing en de AVG erbij. Soms wordt deze substantie te dik, dan voeg ik wat (rozen)water toe.

Ik gebruikte deze mix aanvankelijk als haarmasker, maar ik merkte dat als ik het een tijdje laat intrekken (15-45 min. Afhankelijk van hoeveel tijd ik heb) het een goede reinigende werking heeft. Ik dek mijn haren tijdens het inwerken af met een douchemuts.
Afhankelijk vd tijd vh jaar was ik mijn haren met SLES shampoo (Etos krul shampoo is fijn mild) eens in de 15-30 dagen.

Maar, let wel, voor alles geldt: ieder haar is anders, dus wat voor mij werkt hoeft voor jou niet hetzelfde te werken. Ik merk dat vooral de mate v poreusiteit (en hoe je haar op proteïne reageert) erg belangrijk is in hoe je je haar behandelen moet. Maar het is erg leuk om te zien hoe haar veranderen kan als je ermee werkt i.p.v. ertegen .

Via mariposa is inderdaad veel te bestellen (al is het helaas wel prijzig).
De hema heeft ook twee silicoon vrije (was)conditioners, ééntje van de 'natural' lijn en ééntje voor fijn haar (daar zit ook proteïne in). Super goedkoop, ik gebruik meestal één van deze om mee te wassen.

Ik heb m'n haar laten knippen bij Simcha in Amsterdam (gespecialiseerd in krullend haar) en was daar wel tevreden over!

ik heb trouwens een shampoo van dr. organic (olijf), en er staat op dat het SLS vrij is, maar als je één van de hoofd ingerdiënten op gaat zoeken blijkt dat er wel degelijk sulfaten in zitten (alleen lastig(er)) te herkennen omdat de naam niet iets is met 'sulfaat' erin). Mijn haar wordt er ook erg droog van, terwijl bij de low-poo die ik heb (van jessicurl) dat niet gebeurd.

Voor degenen die in de buurt van rotterdam of amsterdam wonen.. Afro hair cosmetics (kan even niet op de volledige naam komen) Kinky curly is daar verkrijgbaar en lager dan de prijs op mariposa. Mixed chicks heb ik daar ook voorbij zien komen alhoewel ik niet weet of deze lijn 100% vrij is van alles

Die wasconditioners van de Hema klinkt interessant, alleen moet ik wel de proteine vrije hebben, beetje overdosis protein de laatste tijd

Hebben jullie ook wel eens Inecto geprobeerd? Je hebt de pure cocosnootolie conditioner, die is CG friendly en ik wil hem proberen voor mijn deep treatments! Ook een warmte handdoek besteld zodat ik mijn haar kan stomen

met dr organics had ik ook een shampoo gehaald, alleen mijn haar werd er ook super droog van, al vond ik hem eerst heel fijn. Misschien ligt het aan je haar of je er wel of niet tegen kan, maar ik vond het jammer want het rook wel heel lekker

Ik zelf vind inecto wel fijn.. Als een deep treatment of als zware conditioner. Mijn krullen zijn er op uitgekeken nu op een of andere manier.. Maar in combinatie met hitte en een douchekap op wil ik nog wel eens resultaat krijgen.

De olive line van de action (witte fles) is ook een lekkere wasconditioner.

You have to search it more in Amsterdam Zuid Oost or Amsterdam West, you're not going to find anything in the center

De Rainforest lijn is idd best chill ik heb de rainforest moisture conditioner en die is echt super!

Trouwens, ik vroeg me af of er misschien mensen zijn die interesse hebben om een keer een groepsbestelling te doen van curlmart? In je eentje is het echt niet te doen die verzendkosten, maar met meerderen misschien wel!
