Which type of products are you really looking to sample? I'm unemployed so I know how this feels. The cost of shipping has gone up so maybe that's why we are all so hesitant. The cost of shipping plus the cost of shipping containers...

Just about anything, to be honest. I am still seeing what works for my hair. I have only found something good to define my curls so far.

Another possibility would be to contact companies directly. Product manufacturers are surprisingly eager to give free samples on request. There's a whole thread on this at CurlyNikki:

That way you can see what works before you spend any money.
