I had a similar experience with Curlymomma. I had reserved products for her for over a month because I was still awaiting payment. The last pm I sent to her(over a month ago) she still hasn't opened, so I finally swapped them away when I saw Suzen's post. Thanks Suzen for letting us know!

I had a bad experience with trescurly. I sent her a sample of Alma Olive and Heavy ceram in exchange for a sample of the kinky curly custard. I sent hers in the middle of August and here it is October and I haven't recieved anything. I've sent her a few PMs with no response.

All in all, my first bad swap experience. In the event she ever sends my sample, i'll edit this, but I doubt it. Will never swap with her again.

Out of a little over 50 transactions in the last 2 yrs I have had my first transaction(sale) that didn't go well. I sent the product to Amytug on 9/22/06 and I am "still" waiting for payment. I would have asked for the product to be sent back to me but she had already swapped it a few days after receiving it without waiting for me to receive her money which she said she sent but didn't send. She said she thought she paid me on paypal and I specifically told her that I do not have paypal. She was supposed to send me a check. So she had me wait another week that went by(2nd week) and she told me that she would send it that Fri. So I waited that week and still nothing and she told me she'd send it the following week still nothing. It's been 5 weeks now and no payment. She didn't even offer to send me something in place of what I sent her. If she decides to finally send me my money I will remove this post. I sent her a PM a week ago and she hasn't opened it. [/b]

I am hesitant to post this and will remove this post if this situation is cleared up.
I have had many many quick and easy cross border transactions this past year so I am familiar with how to send and how long it takes for a package to arrive. I sent AMYTUG clear instructions on how to send my swap parcel and we agreed to a swap. I sent hers out right away then a few days later she e-mailed telling me she couldn't figure out how to ship it so I sent an even more detailed message of what to do and she said she was just going to send my swap back "return to sender" b/c it was just too much hassle I asked again for her to pls try to send the product I was owed or at least let me know what is going on. She hasnt opened PMs at all or replied to any of my previous ones. As it stands I am out product and shipping and have not heard a thing from her in weeks.

I just received sometime this week 10/22 - 10/29 a package from amytug after sending her a sample and payment for things back on sept 29th. don't know why it took so long, after she said she had sent it out shortly after sept 29th???

I too have had a bad transaction with Amytug. I sent her a tube of Re:coil on 9/25/06 and have still not received payment. I just sent her a reminder PM, but after reading these posts I doubt I will get a response. It just upsets me that I paid $16 for the Re:coil to begin with, then $4 plus for shipping it to her, and now I have nothing to show for it.....Oh well, you live and you learn.

I think that we shouldn't send out products without receiving payment first. I have done business online for YEARS and have run into people lying about not receiving packages (*cough* I had delivery confirmation on it) , sent payment out but never got it, books or item was damaged but will not send it back they just want a refund, etc.

Here is some advice to sellers:

1. DO NOT , under any circumstances, send out a product before payment.

2. Put a delivery confirmation on it , if at all possible. I will even add a delivery confirmation into the shipping costs and slip it in. I won't hardly send any packages anymore without this on it.

3. Always offer insurance. If they buyer does not want insurance it is not your fault if the item gets lost or damaged. Your fault- not theirs!

4. Package Your Items CORRECTLY! Don't send something small in a huge box or don't send a boat load of stuff that isn't quite stuffing in the box very good. This results in broke/damaged items and packages breaking open and items being lost.

5. If the person doesn't reply in 48 hours on if they are sure they want it and how they are sending payment.. let the item go to the next person who responds!

Buyers:
1. Please be courteous and email us sellers back when you email about a product! It is very rude to ask about something and say you are interested in purchasing and never reply.

2. Always ASK for a delivery confirmation or insurance. Some buyers offer, but I would. If the seller has sent the package they will be able ot send you this number and show it as being sent.

3. Please send Payments ON TIME! Don't wait 5 weeks to send a payment.

4. Don't send cash in the mail anymore. Its unwise and many post offices are having problems with cash being stolen. We live in a one horse town and have this problem!

Might I also add, that if you accept personal checks, make sure the check CLEARS the bank BEFORE you send the item, it's just a matter of a few extra days, and worth it, if you are going to lose money over it. I can't for a minute believe the buyer wouldn't do the same if they were in the seller's place.

I agreed to a swap with SoftCurlzAndWavez -- her Carol's Daughter for my Blended Beauty sample pak. I sent out the BB sample pak the next day. More than 3 weeks later I have received nothing. Before I decided to post her, I PM'd her twice. First time she said she would send shortly (family emergency had caused delay). Second PM she claimed to never have received my swap

Quite inconclusive. However, I will not do business with her again. Out of all the swaps I've done this is the only one that fell through.

I have a Too Shea! sample that I was going to send to stephy1191. When I asked her for her address to send it to her, she never responded. I checked my outbox my message wasn't in there, so she obviously got it. The last time she made a post on the boards was Friday the 14th too. Doesn't she know that I need her address in order to send it to her? I guess she doesn't want the sample anymore!

I had send Katina128 a liter bottle of Bioterra and was expecting Deva Arc Angell in return. Nothing yet and no response from my pm. Thankfully i have found others on the board that are trustworthy and will continue to swap since we're all looking for new experiences and or our Holy Grails.
