Anyone tried conditioners with biotin in them?

I just ordered a big bottle of Nature's Gate Biotin conditioner -- it was cheap enough so I figured I'd give it a shot. I will post back after I use it. I usually rotate conditioners weekly so that probably won't be enough time to tell if it helps with thickening and/or growth, but at least I can report back on detangling, slip, etc.

I've never used a conditioner like that however I do take a B complex vitamins that contain Biotin. In general you B vitamins help you process foods better and help with healthy hair and nails. Also Flax seed oil is very nice. People seem to use treatments a lot with flax seed oil. I again take it as a vitamin.

A year or two ago I had a major surgery and i started to have bad hair loss. Taking the vits helps with new growth and did help the health of my hair.

If you have a Big Lots near you, you might still be able to find this there because that's where I got mine (at $1.50 for the 18oz. bottle so I got 4).

Wow, BekkaPoo! That's a great deal -- I paid more than 2x that through vitacost, but I was placing an order anyway and needed to beef up my order for a promo they had going. Thanks for that update. I will look forward to trying it soon too.

If I weren't a member of this forum I would have walked right on by without knowing what I was missing!

I use the Jason Think to Thick conditioner..it works o.k...I can't stand the smell so I don't use it too often.

But it does make my hair seem thicker when I use it

I'll have to check out Big Lots!

Biotin doesn't absorb well through the skin and hair. It would have to be ingested to work.
