Hi Ladies!!!

I am pretty new to NC, and am looking forward to learning more tips to help my crazy hair.

I thought this would be a good section, because my hair is very thin at the moment. I really have no idea why just yet. I was on thyroid meds for about 4 years and then recently discovered I no longer need to take them. My hair is still thinning though. I am working with the doctors to figure this out, for I am only 33. (this is frustrating to me, so thanks for letting me vent

I am transitioning into the CG method...trying to get all my products in line. I really love all natural products. I would love to find a great leave in conditioner that would be okay for very thin hair. I would prefer that it is natural and would love to be able to find it at Sephora or Whole foods (I need it NOW, do not want to wait for shipping )

If anyone has a great suggestion please let me know. I could use help with everything!!!

Lately I've just been using my regular conditioner (either Suave Waterfall Mist or Renpure Organics Moisturizing Conditioner). I just take a very small amount (dime size or less) and add a lot of water, rub it between my palms and rub it in. Seems to work okay!

Currently using:
-Organix Tea Tree Mint Shampoo (occasionally)
-Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition conditioner
-Suave Waterfall Mist Conditioner or Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific as leave-in
-A mix of Shique Gel and HE Totally Twisted mousse
-FX Curls Up Mousse, on occasion

I've been using burt's bees volumizing conditioner. a few drops in a travel size spray bottle filled with water. i tried some of my other condish's, but this one didn't weigh me down & I love the smell.

I'm tired of shopping around for a light weight one & I think fine\thinner hair needs something super light as a LI. I am finding I'm better off making my own.

The fun (and inexpensive) thing about this method is that you can experiment with all your condish's to see what homemade LI works for you hair!

My hair is fine, low porosity and not very dense. I find that it likes the more natural products and can handle the richer products quite well--just in smaller amounts. It likes the more natural products, but I haven't found much to use on the ground--sorry. Most of my favorites are in my signature.

I think mine is going to as well...at least, I would LOVE it to I noticed you have a bunch of samples. When I get more then two minutes on here, I am going to check them out.

Where in PA are you? I am from Langhorn/Bristol area, I also lived in Bensalem and Phili for a while. I live in Oregon now. Goodness, the last time we were out there (March 09), my hair was a nightmare. the humidity is horrible!!!

Since it's your thread, I don't feel that this convo is as much of a guano. They actually have whole stores that are about soft pretzels. They are what my father missed most when he moved to Florida. Soft pretzels are just not the same anywhere else, LOL!

Nope, Guano away! There was a store right near the Bristol Borough sign but it wasn't the ones I remember. The ones I remember were long, doughy, mega salty and delicious. I went to a school that brought them to us every Wednesday. That was the life. The hoagies and Pizza were amazing too...oh and lord the Cheese steak sandwiches. NO one makes them the same. I haven't even figured it out. The roll is just different then what we have out here. There is a place called "Philadelphia's" that is pretty close, but still no cookie!

It was strange, I have been gone since I was about 10, and when I went back for my grandma's funeral, I knew my way around. Really must belong there
