Default Please take a look and give me a shoulder to cry on or a vote of confidence

I don't have many friends and I've been very stressed lately about my long-term hair shedding, that's high. I've always been poofy hair girl, but now as CG, it's in better condition, so not so poofy, but I feel like it's thinner out. Can anyone tell me if this looks like a normal part, temples or not? If I had friends, I could compare myself to them, but I don't so it would help to hear from other's if my part looks like yours or if I'm widening. Thanks

Looks normal to me. Your temples being as they are come with the widows peak hairline. I have one as well and yours look a lot like mine.

Oh really? Yes I have a sligth widow's peak, does yours also look like the temples start hair farther in on the sides? When I pull my hair back, I look like a man that isn't balding, but has like sides with no hair? Is that how yours is?? Thanks so much. It's just I rarely see women like that. All men though

My hair is the same I fluff out my bangs to hide it! lol! I think you are lovely, and your hair is quite normal...Most women I know have that kind of formation on the sides, if they have "widow's peak" as another poster mentioned above. Don't sweat it, you have the goods, doll! lol...

REALLY?? Thank God for all your support, may you all be blessed. I 'm literally crying right now from the relief and making me feel it's normal, thanks so much. So really, you all too, have like "C" shapes on the sides of your temples? I was so worried. Thanks so much.

Hey, I just signed up to tell you that you are being a little silly and extremely harsh on yourself. I have those exact 'C's on the side of my head -- even more pronounced than yours, in fact -- and they are completely normal! Your hair is not thin, your hairline is absolutely not masculine or out of the ordinary in ANY way or shape. Relax, honey! No one has an even hairline except Kim K and that's because she sandpapers hers off every 24hrs.

Quick edit: If you don't believe me, look at any young child or baby's hairline. The vast majority of them have hairlines that go in at the sides! Also, Marilyn Monroe had a widow's peak so we're definitely in good company. x

looks fine, no need to worry. If you were me then you could worry. I have thinning in the top of my head grrrr which happens to a lot of women in my family early Hopefully I'll continue to have enough hair around it to hide it when I need to.

Pretty much the same, though its more pronounced when its longer and I pulled it back. I have pretty thick hair too (as in number of hairs, not thickness of each hair). It's just how the widows peak works.

Your part looks fine to me - if I parted my hair like that you'd be able to see my scalp through the hair either side of the part (if you get what I mean).

You have all been a blessing. And if someone was getting on my case a bit, I deserve it I guess. It's just that I've been shedding so much hair so then you start looking at your hair closer. I went to a derm and he told me I had areas where I'd lost 50% of my hair, something I never imagined they'd say, I went in for help on stopping the shed, not for them to tell me I'm bald My husband siad that was a messed up diagnosis, but that really hurt me. I feel for you all that are struggling with hair sheds or hair loss, because whether I have it or not, at this time, I've been made to think that I have had hair loss, so I know the feeling. ANd like I said, me not having close friends, I have no one to lend me their head so I can see that I'm not the only one. Thanks so much Mojo Dojo for the picture, I needed to see that I'm normal, thanks so much. God bless you all. Naturally curly girls are THE BOMB!! Thanks so much for your time and reassurance.
