Hair falls everytime I touch it

Curlies, if tug very gently on the ends of my hair some strands just slide off, all loose hair with the little white bulbs on the tips.
I just showered and the drain was fairly clogged with hair (which is not all that abnormal) but not even 5 minutes later:

If I do this from 10 to 10minutes 4 or 5 strands will come off.

I have never dealt with this before so I'm really stressed about it.
I'm 20, my hair is wavy, I've been growing it out and it's now around mid back length.
I don't brush very often could this be normal shedding?

I switched to sls free shampoo a year back, no major problem. This year I switched brand (still sls free) and my hair would become oily extremely quickly so I switched back to the old brand (giovanni) but different shampoo.
My hair has been weird since.

I don't see any redness in my scalp but I have a lot of dandruff and if I scratch my scalp on the 2nd to 3rd day without washing i get this waxy white stuff under my nails so I came to the conclusion that maybe it's falling due to build up? Or could it even by dryness?
I don't dye, use gels, sprays or any heating tool on my hair at all.

Currently I'm not in my home country so it's difficult to make a doctor appointment.
I know it's hard to give advice in this kind of situation but any help would be really appreciated.
Thank you
Hello,

I don't know what your problem could be, but perhaps go back to the first shampoo you were using? It could possibly be because of that. Also you could try to take hair loss supplements to make sure you're getting all the nutrients your hair needs. Make sure that your hair has no build up and perhaps try an oil massage, it has worked for me.

You will probably need to see a professional when you're back home.

Good luck.

Until you can get medical advice review your diet, making it as nutrient dense and anti inflammatory as possible - lots of oily fish, no sugar or white/ refined carbs etc.

Do not use any natural oils on your scalp or hair that are rich in oleic acid (olive, avocado, sweet almond, argan and others) in case you have seborrhoeic dermatitis - they will worsen that.
