Default More shedding next day

Hey! I'm no here so hello!

I have recently been trying to find out more about my 3A hair and how to deal with it. It's been falling out a lot recently but I'm using a hair treatment (FOLTEN) to fight that. I read that cowashing most days can help strengthen hair, as well as oil massages. I've tried oil and it mostly helps, except when I cowash it out I shed more after. Also, cowashing in general/oily hair makes my hair shed. The weird thing is I don't even have oily OR dry hair, it's medium. I don't understand what could be causing this. Maybe I'm doing something else wrong?

Thanks!

I have the same exact problem... I'm in my early teens and I'm new to this place, but I've always had super thick hair. I've noticed it doesn't shed as much if I leave it natural. Do you straighten your hair often... Or brush it? I've heard that causes breakage

I was having this same problem. I do weekly PTs, but I don't have a hair dryer and just assumed my hair would absorb the proteins, so when my hair was falling out in massive quantities, I chalked it up to stress and normal shedding.

I bought this stuff called Natural Protein from Sally's. My usual go to PT is Aphogee, but this stuff was much cheaper minus all the chemicals that Aphogee had. I also bought a dryer and did a PT as soon as I got home. I dried that stuff into my hair until it was hard as a rock. It instantly stopped shedding.

I don't know if you're protein sensitive or not, but this worked for me.
