Default Different Shrinkage ?

My hair shrinks more on one side than the other ? i'm transitioning and have been for 10 months now, i'm trying to big chop at month 18-20 but i always thought it was because my hair was thinner on one side than the other, but i was watching the youtuber beautifulbrwnbabydol and her hair shrank alot then when i was twisting mine i noticed one side shrank lots more, is there a way i can make it shrink like the other side, i love my shrinkage so i want the other side to shrink the more shrunken side, can someone tell me how to fix this ? all answers are helpful . . .

I have the exact same problem! Ha! I scrunch styling product in my hair but give the shrunken side a bit more scrunching.

When it's dry I pull the curls on the shrunken side a little more but they just end up springing back up after a while
