Default Growing natural hair faster

Hey I was just wandering if anyone knows of any products or hair regiments that will make my hair grow just a little bit faster ? I co - wash my hair every week & do a full wash every two weeks I use no heat in my hair & grease my scalp comb with a wide tooth & brush my hair with a soft bristle brush is that enough ? Or .. Too much ?

what kind of grease are you using.. careful of the product ingredients.. too much mineral oil and petroleum can clog your follicles and slow down hair growth. Using a good leave in conditioner.. maybe keeping a spray bottle handle with a conditioner of choice, and sealing the moisture in with an essential oil like olive oil, sweet almond, jojoba etc are good too...

Thank you. I've been using this grease called Natures Blessings but I only use it two days before I wash my hair.

I've been using vitamins mostly Biotin with my normal multivitamin. It's been helpful so far. Also from friends and family who've had great results from Jamaican Black Castor Oil.It's helped some of them with moisture and growth and a pretty good sealer. I have the lavender scented version which is good because some people don't like the smell of the regular version.

Also have you tried protective styling?

Tons of whirls and curls and coils on my head. My hair's sometimes my best friend and other times we're at odds. But either way it's curls to the end. No need for a relaxer cause there's no reason to stress, my tresses are at their best

I've done lots of sew ins my hair has grown wonderfuly w/ the sew ins only problem is I would leave some of the front of my hair out so now only 85% of my hair is in it's natural 4a (I belive) state. That's why I'm asking is there a faster way to grow out hair because I'm soooo ready to cut the last pieces of dead hair off.

I take flaxseed supplements can be found almost any supermarket or health food store, Vitamin D supplements, a women's multi vitamin supplement, a tablespoon of molasses and cod liver oil (can be found at ethnic markets or west/east Indian health food stores). I don't take the vitamin supplements every day 2-3 time a week. Everything else daily. Drinking milk and eating proteins help. Vitamin enriched nutrition drinks like ensure and nutriment are also great. I hope this helps

Deep conditioning your hair and moisturizing is also key sometimes your hair can contain too much protein. My hair is still recovering from falling out in the middle and the back of my hair due to bad salon practices. I'm working on growing out the middle of my hair thicker and softer. The rest of my hair is very healthy and abundantly thick for still having relaxed ends. Try to incorporate more cowashes/low pooing to your hair regimen. Deep condition every time

Red face I was wondering.......

I have had completely natural hair since I was 13 and my mom put relaxer in my hair when I was five to soften it and make it more manageable ( she had three girls to take care of). I just wanna know how to tell where my relaxed hair ends and where my natural hair begins, since I'm trying to take better care of my hair and trying to learn how to make it grow, properly.

I grew out 2.8inches of hair between the 1st of September and 25th of October.
Here are some things that help stimulate hair growth (I didn't even know they did till after a while of using them:
1. Rosemary oil
2. Shea butter
3. Eucalyptus oil (never really been able to get my hands on this, but I know it works)
4. Aloe vera gel (always use shea butter on your hair before using this)
5. Ginger
6. Grapefruit essential oil or juice

I would have listed eggs and mayonnaise, but anyways, they're still alright.

My best out of the above 6 is the rosemary oil. Rosemary oil prevents dandruff, stops itchy scalp and stimulates hair growth.

Also, going heat-free (that means, no hair dryers, no flat irons, no straighteners, no hot combs, no curling irons... you must avoid heat!) and one more thing, always get some natural oils into your hair after swimming. Aaaaand, get natural oils into your hair daily and moisturise (best with water) about twice a week.

Hope I could help.

Things I use: Olive Oil, Canola oil, rosemary oil, aloe vera gel, shea butter, mayonnaise, eggs, milk, bananas

Everything I use is 100% natural. I make most of them myself because then I'm sure what's in it and I'm sure nothing's added, it's pure, it's natural.

Things I avoid: Mineral oil (codename: Baby oil), heat (I'm a total, no hair driers, no straighteners, no curling irons, no flat irons, no hot combs...nada), sodium chloride

Growing plan: At least 6 inches longer in a year.
