Default Perfect braidout: Satin strip braids

In my search for transitioning hairstyles (since I've mostly been wearing buns lately) I came upon this idea on YouTube. This rocks!!! It's cheap since all you need is satin strips (I just cut some old pajamas which were made out of polyester though) and easy to do if you can braid. It gave me pretty, uniform curls that stay all day.
All you do is fold a strip in two and wrap it around the section you want to braid. Then begin braiding. When you braid the two strips will become two out of the three sections of hair (2strips an one of hair) what I really love about this is that the strips make me get curls all the way down. With regular braid outs I would get nice curls/waves but my ends would be a straight mess. Not anymore!!!

I usually roll the ends of my hair ans secure them with bobby pins. The ends of my hair remain curly they don't go back straight unless I wet my hair

I hear you bantu knots just don't work for my hair. It gives me a wild and tasteless bantu knot out

I tried this a month or so ago and it came out really nice. I tried it again after that and it was a disaster (hair didn't dry).

I may give this another try tonight a sit under the dryer. I HATE sitting under the dryer. I don't understand why my hair won't dry overnight like everybody elses. Sigh.

Do you do yours on wet or dry hair? I've done it on wet hair in the past, but I'm considering trying it out on blown out hair.

Damp after I wash. Last night I just misted my hair with hibiscus tea and aloe Vera juice and it came out great too.
