Finger coils on relaxed ends?

I was just wondering if anyone transitioning has tried finger coils. I saw someone on the 3c board who had done them and they are so pretty! But I'm not sure if they will work on my 3 inches of relaxed ends. Has anyone tried them? It just seems like it will take a long time and I wanted to see if anyone has had any success with them. Thanks for any help!

Yeah, I tried it a couple of days ago and while my natural hair held the coil ok, when it got to the relaxed part it went limp and wouldn't hold the curl at all. Reeeeeeeaaalllly makes me want to do a BC!

Yeah me too, I might do mine soon. When do you plan on doing yours?

But last night I was watching youtube videos of all the awesome naturals rockin there styles and I want to be there sooo bad... I haven't seen what my hair looks like with 'natural' ends since I can remember!

On the flip side having my hair so short is daunting. Those "Blegh" days of easily throwing it into a pony would be over for a while... something I rely on at least once a week.

So I don't know!

When do you think you will do yours?
