You don't have to go out and buy an expensive product you can simply use something you may already have at home like extra virgin olive oil or coconut oil. I personally use coconut oil each week on dry hair to deep condition (I tried evoo but it made my scalp itch and my skin break out. Not saying it will be the same for you but that is just my experience).
I part my dry hair in four sections, evenly apply the coconut oil to each section (making sure I pay close attention to those ends) and then cover w/a plastic processing cap and then tie down over night w/my scarf. The next day I water rinse out the excess oil (there really is not that much bc my hair is high porosity so it usually absorbs the majority of the oil), and then proceed w/my usual wash day reggie. I started this routine many months ago and my hair has never been healthier or more manageable.
Just in case you were wondering my hair is a mix of 3b/c and 4a. I usually don't post that bc that just has to do more w/the size of your curls vs the actual texture/properties however I only say that since you stated you were a 3c but as a side note most often people find that it's really not the curl size that matters but rather getting advice from people who have similar hair properties as them is what matters/benefits them the most.
