How does your husband feel about your transition from relaxed to natural?

Just want to hear your story on this topic.

I recently got married on 11-11-11. We have been together for 6 years. About a week ago, I told my husband that I want to go natural. My last relaxer was October 15, 2011, and my hair is a little past my shoulders.

When I told my husband about my decision to go natural, he was totally fine with it. He even joked that he would go natural with me-his hair is low cut!

Congrads on your marriage and transitioning!!

When and told my hubby, friends, and coworkers......they all looked at me and said "i'm supporting you through it, but we'll see how long you'll last." They said im too diva when it comes to my hair. I was a every two weeker, and i flat ironed every day! 7 1/2 months post relaxer, everyone, including the hubby.....are still supporting me, and love the new me. They have realized, the natural is here to stay

Now, they are all helping me stay patient......and not bc right now.

Enjoy ur hubby, and the new you! My advice is to find a transitioning style and routine that will work for you. i have mastered the two strand twist. happy transitioning!!

Yeah, I'm going to need all the support I can get. I feel confident about my transition, but I think once my new growth really starts "poopin" Im going to be like HELP!

I'm not married... I'm only 22 but guys I've dated or encountered in the past, never commented or cared how I wore my hair in the past. While I was relaxing I use to wear my hair in "natural" looking styles like braid outs and textured buns. Now that I'm transitioning, my hair is more frizzier but it's still kept neat. I think a neat appearance of hair is important. Other than that I think most men don't care as long as you're confident and present yourself well.

I'm not married but I have been with my boyfriend for 6 years. He doesn't really understand what going natural is but he has loved my transitioning styles and has been supportive of me being on the forums and watching videos all the time. My family is also supportive too. But they are all fully natural so they like to give advice to me about when they transitioned.
