Default Style Ideas Anyone?

Hey fellow transitioners!!!

I am 10 months as of yesterday & new to NaturallyCurly!!! Throughout my transition I have been going to my stylist that's done my relaxers in the past & she has been AMAZING through out this process! However, I am trying to save money & trying not to go as often. The thing is, I am really struggling with doing my own hair. I finally have the washing & detangling down thanks to you all out there who have helped me! Now I need help with some simple styles. My total hair length (relaxed & natural) is right at mid-back length. I tried a two-strand twist and curl the other day, but it looks funny. The new growth looks nice & thick, but the permed ends look super thin. However, they are very healthy. Any ideas as far as maybe a bun or something else simple? Also, do you know of any good twist & braid tutorials? My flat twisting & braiding skills are shameful! I don't really want to get a sew-in or add extensions. I'm open to ideas...do you have any?

Bantu knots have been my style for my transition. I'm 12 months in.

I just started twist outs, which I have grown to love. I put a perm rod on the end where the relaxed ends are to make a curl.

Flat twist outs work too, but I can't do these, my hair dresser does them when I go to her. I dont go as often anymore.

I'm also trying to find transition styles that blend my new growth and relaxed hair. IA with the bantu knots my sister looks really cute with them. And flat twists worked nice on me. I can't do my own hair either but YouTube tutorials help a lot. Also what about trying a rollerset?
