Default Having a hard time adjusting to curly hair, anyone else?

I have been flat ironing my hair for 10 years, and damaged it, had to get 4 inches cut off and it is now above my shoulders and am having to let it be naturally curly. It isn't ringlets, it's an uneven s wave, every curl is different.

My biggest issue is feeling like I have been forced to have my hair short and curly when I have been used to wearing it straight. I am grateful to be getting it healthy, but am having such a hard time adjusting to this change, and liking it curly.

Does anyone else have a hard time embracing their curls?

I'm having the same problem! I don't know what to do with it, there is almost no uniform curl. They're all doing their own thing..
