The back of my hair is the longest part when it straight and wet but when it dries my curls tighten up so much that it looks like I only have hair in the front. HELP

the middle of my head is where my tightest curls are too lol. I used to try and weigh it down with tons of product.

why dont you try stretching them out? once your hair is about 80% dry you can get a blow dryer, set it on cool or lowest heat and finish drying your hair while finger combing
