Default I cant take it anymore!

I cant comb my hair at all ive been transtioning for a few months and it seems no matter how much i comb it never gets detangled.i use a wide tooth comb and i start from the bottom to the top and i use conditonar but my hair just ends up being tangled even when i seperate it into four sections. Also i have this promblem where the hair in the middle of my scalp is hard and brittle and gets tangled to the extreme and to add on to that i have dandruff and i just feel like giving up and perming my hair 8(

I need some support guys

I know the feeling and u hated the 2 textures. After 8 months of wearing wigs and watching YouTube videos, I decided to do the big chop! I still wore wigs after that until I gain a length to start twisting my hair. I started using castor oil for a challenge for about a month and noticed a huge difference in my hair. Before, my hair wasn't growing, had some bald spots, and was dry. After, my hair started to come alive lol I started a regimen that was good for my hair texture. Hang in there and I've been natural for almost 2 years.

Hang in there hun! Have you considered cutting off the relaxed ends? That may alleviate some of the frustration since you will not have to deal with two textures. Just keep doing your research and experimenting with different products (within reason of course lol) to see what works for you and I am sure it will get better.

I know the feeling. I would consider doing a mini chop or BC. Also try using lots of conditioner on your hair to help make detangling easier. Co washing more than once of week should help make your hair softer. Try being more patient with your hair. If going natural is what you want then you have to work towards and stay calm

Hey! You can do it. I have been transitioning for over a year, it will get easier. What products are you using? Cantu Shea butter leave in made me combing my hair, in my early months, a breeze!!!! Within seconds, I found it easy to comb my hair. This doesn't really add mositure though so be careful if you try it.

I can only suggest being patient when you comb through your hair. It's a little easier for me now but early on, I just had to take my time. After I parted into 4 sections, I would add more.leave in and split that into 2 and comb.

I totally feel you on this. When I first started transitioning I couldn't detangle for anything. Especially when the new growth was only like 2 in long. I just passed my 1 year and it has gotten much better. I just did a mini chop and cut off about 4 in of damaged hair and that definitely helped. I can now see the potential my hair has and am excited for the rest to grow out but I am soooooo impatient. If you stick with it it is worth it. Don't give up yet.

So know how you feel I have had a mini cut but an inch and I'm going to keep going and getting that amount cut until my damaged hair is gone.
I really don't like the two tone hair it's so difficult, you'll get there.

I had the same problem. So I did a mini chop and bought a diff conditioner with better slip. Also, I no longer detangle with a comb. Finger detangling is much easier and less hair comes out for me.

I understand completely. While styling is a bit more of a struggle for me, I can relate. U should first try detangling and conditioning before u shampoo. That helped me alot. U need a good slip conditioner that specifies it's a detangler. I also had a problem with dandruff. It was horrible and while I was relaxing, my hair was long and healthy but my scalp was jacked up. I started doing apple cider vinegar rinses after my wash (b4 the 2nd conditoning) and my dandruff is basically gone. I used a small applicator bottle and added a couple of tablespoons of apple cider vinegar (check around for recipes for acv rinse to find what works for u). Hope this helps! Don't give up, it will get better!
