Default I think im ready for the bc

I have been transitioning for about 11 months. Im in the army and im deployed right now to afghanistan...I think im ready to do the big chop and get micros til it time for me to get back...would that be bad for my hair?

How long will you be gone and how will you care for the micros? Box braids would probably be a healthier option than micros...

I have about 6 months left of this deployment...while i have the brais in, i plan to keep my scalp moistured...so it can grow...
what if i got micros on the outside and a sew-in in the middle...i dont want to damage my hair....but i have to have my hair where im able to put it in a bun for uniform...
