Edges can be tricky. I think a key thing with edges is to make sure they are moisturized. Moisturized edges are a heck of a lot easier to deal with than dry frizzy ones. Whenever I skip a cowash day I just pull my hair back and moisturize the edges with a little water (my spray bottle is my best friend) and slap on a little Let's Jam custard (the new pink pudding like stuff), eco styler gel, and a little coconut oil and I'm set! It took me a few tries but hey that's what transitioning is all about right haha.
