I have a younger sister who is 10, and she is trying to grow out her perm, but she doesn't know how to style her hair, I do protective styles on her hair. I think she wanted to after she saw me big chop, I did mine when I was 12.. I'm 13 now. I know some products her hair likes like the beautiful textures detangling shampoo, herbal essence hello hydration conditioner and ors hair mayo.. also shea moisture curl and style milk, what hairstyles could she do to help her transition? She wants to learn. Here's a picture of her new growth. I'm not sure of her last relaxer. But I think it was between febuary and march:

She could do braids, twists and bantu knots to help blend the different textures but youtube has a lot of videos about transitioning and styling natural hair so check them out

well her scalp is very sensitive to braids and when they are in too long her hair begins to falll out. Bantu knots never dry on her hair. But twists do well on her hair. We have very different hair textures. Mines is very tight. Hers is tight but its very very thick.

Thank you! Its become a big thing in my family. remembering the only things I used in my hair were the just for me relaxer, motions pink lotion, grease? And Vo5 shampoo and conditioner. Not that there is anything wrong with those products, I've just grown away from them. You know?
