How do I cleanse my hair before deep conditioning?

Do I ACV, wash hair, then hot oil treatment? (which sounds about right because why do a oil treatment on scalp to only rinse it out?)

Or do I hot oil treatment, wash hair, then ACV?

I think you should do an acv rinse in the end to seal the moisture in, because it closes the cuticle. So, hot oil, wash, then acv rinse.

Tagging my own question along here:

If you do ACV last, how do you get rid of the smell? I have my own wash days during the week and had to go to school smelling like vinegar once.

Maybe you should dilute it more. The smell shall fade when your hair dries. What ratio do you use?

I do ACV rinses often, and have never smelled of vinegar. 1T vinegar in a pint of water, poured through the hair, left on a minute, then rinsed out.
