When my hair dries its a big puff ball!!
 

I finally bc and I love when my hair is wet but, when my hair dries its a huge puff ball and it looks EXXXTRA THIRSTY.... What can I do to keep it from looking like this..

Are you moisturizing? Use a oil so it won't look so "thirsty" lol

Yea I am but it still looks the same.

While its still soaking wet finger in a lot of leave-in and then palm in a lot of your favorite gel.

I had that same problem when I first did the big chop. Wet your to see of you may still have frizzy dry relaxed straight pieces. I did a snipped those suckers off. I co wash every day or every other day. A henna or protein treatment should help your hair pick back up.

SAME THING HAPPENS TO ME

I have had relaxed my hair for many years. In the past two years I have stopped and now have my natural hair very long. However, my hair is not curling when it dries. My entire head of hair is curly but when it tries it dries horribly. The curls are not defined at all. My curls are an "S" shape at the outer surface but inside it's just random curls of all types. I can't-not blow dry my hair because when it air dries it just grows brittle and really dry, it looks like hay and it basically balloons to the side of my head and puffs. No curls are even seen.

@jasminesbby is your hair still dry? It's not recommended but I suggest still having your ends clipped every month I still have stubborn short straight strands and its annoying and impossible to clip them. As my hair grows out ill be clipping them off

I have the same hair type and issue. This is just a suggestion but it may help: after each and deep condition, part hair into sections, use carol's daughter " marguerite's hair magic" on each section and plait. Once it dries, unplait and apply Qhemet's burdock root hair oil to each section. I hope this helps!! Not all hair moisturizers are created equal so you need to find a brand that works for you.
