I have learned so much from these message boards I just wanted to share - I am transitioning going into my twelfth month and I learned a new style. box braiding my hair about three fourths down and then using small curlers on the relaxed ends in order to create a spiral effect- Using gel to help it maintain it spiral. it's super cute and it really helps with the two different textures. hopefully this idea will help somebody else too!
