Reactions from friends/family about your transition

Hi everyone!

I'm still early in my transition. I've been relaxer and flat-iron free since July!

I have about 4 inches of new growth and my permed hair hangs to my collarbone.
I just wanted to know what were some of the reactions you got from friends, family, coworkers, your signifcant other, etc... when you told them you were trying to transition from relaxed to natural hair?
Where I'm from, having a relaxer or weave is the only thing that is the norm. Here are some of the things that were said to me:

Mom: You're not getting perms anymore? So... I mean... what are you gonna do with your hair then?

Boyfriend: O lord, don't tell me you're trying to be one of those knotty-head girls.

Supervisor: What do you want to do that crazy **** for?

LOL... What are some of the reactions you got?

Cousin: So you'll go natural then what... Wait you'll just do nothing?

Aunt : if you go natural you need to keep your hair braided

Other cousin: Your hair's gonna fall out if you don't cut it

21 months post relaxer and now 3 weeks natural and I don't regret my transition.

All my friends say that they think my hair is really beautiful. They really envy how my hair curls naturally (the country I'm from isn't really a 'straight-hair-society' like America).

And my younger sister even became a CG because of me.

Zero negative reactions so far!
