I have very thick and long hair, I'm at a 3A and I want a change and I want to go shorter!


I want to go a little below my shoulders and start the curly method
this is my inspiration pic:

I'm just scared that since my hair's so thick it will just look like a poof ball. I've always had long hair and need advice!

Anyone who has gone from long to short please help and I'm open to suggestions!

As long as you still get some layers you should be fine. I also have 3a curls and just went from BSL to a curly bob:
This is immediately post diffusing and is the maximum volume I get with the cut.
