Transitoning and brushing
 
I have been brushing my edges with a hard brush and I notice that my curl pattern isn't as defined as before and I was wondering how to get the curls back.... help:-|:-|

Deep conditioning would probably help and moisturizing your hair a lot.

Honestly, you don't need a brush to lay your edges down. If you use a good leave-in conditioner or moisturizer, you should be able to smooth it on your edges with your fingertips, slip on a scarf for about 10 minutes, remove it, and your edges will be smooth (without using gel). If you absolutely have to use a brush, try a soft wave brush.
