Professional BC or do it yourself?

Are you going to get your BC done professionally at a salon or are you going to do it yourself? Why? I always wanted to do it myself, but, as I'm reaching my BC date, I'm starting to have doubts. Maybe I should get a professional opinion to see if my hair is healthy.

If your try it yourself, try cutting small sections first. You may discover that a big chop is not what you're going for and that a mini-chop works for the time.
