Braid-Outs?

Hey ladies! I have questions about braid-outs/twist-outs:

Do you braid the hair when it's wet or almost dry? I tried a braid-out but it seemed more crimped than curled.

About how many braids do you usually put in and

Do you 3 braid or twist, and which turns out better?

What products to you use to define the curls?

I did a braid out yesterday. I started with damp hair, I sectioned it off and used Miss jessies baby buttercreme on each section. I made about 17 braids and it came like tightly waved curls. the smaller you make the braids the better it will look and the longer it will last, also you should braid firmly not tightly. Make sure you keep your fingers close to the section you're braiding. Your hair will be dry by morning.
