Depressed

Help............anyone..........so I had been getting a texturizer on my hair for the past year. Before that, I wore my hair completely natural, so I can say the natural texture is some 3b with 3c, and very fine. Well the last texturizer I got has completely straightened my locks with minimal curl actually more like a wave. I feel like shaving my head. It seems like an eternity to let it grow out. Does anyone have advice on how to mentally deal with the wait period. I literally just had the process done, so I've got forever. Even braiding my hair doesn't help...........it's still stick straight with a wave or two. I would appreciate any advice.

How long is your hair? Perhaps you could use rollers?

My hair is just below my bra strap , so your hair roller idea is probably the only choice I have right now. I'll try it. Thank You!

Are you wanting more length or going to stay the same? I'd roller set it and then keep the ends trimmed regular so the ends don't get thin, splint or ragged looking. Don't be too uspet, just keep your hair well moisturized and it'd be ok!!

I would have to recommend not texturizing your hair.
A protective style for awhile - braid extensions?

Playing with my hair is a hobby. Fluffy, fine natural 4a. Goal= Healthy, beautiful hair that retains its length.
Hear that crash? It's me falling off the CG wagon.
