Question for those who have BC'd

Just curious if you did it yourself or had it professionally done.

I actually went to the salon today and did my bc. My hair was already short but I had a good amount of straight ends still. So I told her to just cut it off now I have less than an inch, but it feels great to get it over with. And like Lipglass says its only hair and will grow back

I did it myself! When my hair was wet, it was pretty obvious which hair was natural and which was relaxed, so I con washed it and then cut off all the straight ends! I think I only had about 2 inches (if that much) or relaxed hair left, so it wasn't that dramatic. Then I went to the salon about 2 weeks later (to get a little color!) and had my hairdresser even it out a little. HTH!

I did it myself. I had been growing out my hair for awhile; gradually cutting an inch at a time. Then I got tired of snipping alittle here and then alittle there, and just cut the remaining 4 or so inches off.

I still to this day do my own trims. I just don't trust anybody else to cut my hair. And I'm pretty good at it myself, so why spend the money, right?

I did it myself and let the salon finish. I already had a regular hair appointment but I took some clippers and gave myself a reverse mohawk so that I couldn't turn back. My stylist finished it.

I'm a DIY kinda gal! I can't see me going to get a "trim" because my stylist always gets scissor happy and I end up looking like a plucked chicken! I do it myself, then let him yell at me for it being so uneven. He hates that.

I trim my daughter's hair too, because it's down to her butt, and I don't want her to lose too much length.He'd have my baby looking like a scarecrow. Matter of fact, when I get home, I think Imma do another BBC (Big Baby Chop):hyper:hyper.gif ! That'll be fun, let's see what my boyfriend has to say now. *in my best evil villain laugh*AAAHH HAH HAH HAAAH...yeah. He hates short hair, but he can't keep his hands outta my head!

And, it has been a long, painful process growing back my hair. I looked like a curly haired man with short, curly hair. I am so thankful that it is finally growing back.

I actually like my hair shorter, for some reason I'm so much more girly...if that's possible!

sad20gif Today I wore a very cute and flowy peasant top and some cute earrings. I even wore lipstick! I seriously can't keep my hnd outta my head. My boyfriend sees me playing and he tries to shoo my hand away...so he can play too!

Since I cut it, I have all these crazy looking slinky lookign curls everywhere except the top. That's got corkscrews, and the crown is bone straight, where it fell out once due to relaxing. Any thoughts?
