No chemicals please
Maybe you should try Miss Jessie's Quick Curls or Kinky Curly. You need something to blend the two textures together. I am transitioning and I use both. Like you my relaxed hair curls just like my natural hair. Do not use a kiddie relaxer. You have come so far...do not go back to the creamy crack. There are many natural alternatives. Maybe you could try the natural laxer. It is a herbal clay mix that will soften the natural hair and the relaxed hair. In essence, it makes the transition easier. I have not tried it but a lot of people have with their transition. Just google natural laxer...but be careful there are two and one has chemicals...this one should say Baka Beautiful's Natural Laxer.
Also, have you tried braids, braid outs, kinky twist extensions, roller sets, or two-strand twisting your hair. There is so much versatility with your hair. Do not be discouraged. Just breathe and take it one day at a time. Please be gentle with your natural hair. Be cognizant that straightening the hair is not good for the curl pattern and that you should be trying styles that manipulate the relaxed hair to look like the natural hair.
Another suggestion is qhemet biologics products. They do wonderful things for the hair. The products are wonderful, all natural and work well on transitioning hair. Please check out their website before you do anything drastic. There is a hair chart on her website telling which products would work well for your hair.
