Has anyone ever cut their hairline very short? Shorter than the rest of your hair? The very front of my hair, not even 1cm in width is still growing in kind of weird. I suspect that I am still suffering from scab hair in the front since it won't take any texture. It's frustrating because right behind that, my hair is growing in nicely. I'll saw that it's about 2mm in width (I'm not kidding) and my temples are probably half an inch. Would it look odd? It'll probably look something like this but shorter

Opinions?

I did a BC when getting rid of my highlights. My bangs were barely 1/2"-1" along my forehead. It made for a really interesting growout. I just got sick of them and grabbed the scissors and started chopping away. I don't recommend that to anyone but it did get rid of them fast. I wore a lot of headbands until they grew back out.

Not sure how to answer here...

Medically and aesthetically speaking, There’s no such thing as scab hair (on the head of hair) It is not normal to deliberately damage your own hair (including hairline area). Most people with damaged/mutilated hair have been assaulted, I’ve never heard of anyone who voluntarily damaged their hairline like that. But if you’re looking to change your look, then a wig might help while your hair grows in at the front. If you are feeling stress or compelled to pull or shave hairs, you should work on destressing and talk to your internist about it as well as your dermatologist. Please don't harm yourself in this way.

Good luck.
