Default should i just hold out and make it a year...

i hate my relaxed hair. I hate it with a passion that burns deep..deep deep down , like from my loins! It just hangs there like a depressed wet dog, its lifeless, uneven, pitiful and downright annoying. My twists and twistouts wont work becuase my ends wont curl! I'm about 7 and a half months in so should i just hold out till june...??last june i had my last perm...ever! It wasnt really hard until my new growth acquires some length. I used to stretch my relaxers...but never this long! Part of me wants a bit more length, but then the other part of me is ready to chop!

Well it depends on what's more important to you at the moment. Are you more concerned with length right now? If so, then you should go ahead and wait it out till June in my opinion. But if you think you'll be fine with the length, then go ahead and chop it off.

Default You can do it!

You can hold out until then. Have you tried rolling the ends of your twists?
Try that, you're almost there.

Bcing is all about you, so don't dwell too much on what your family and friends will think. It's your hair, so if you want to cut it or dye it or whatever go ahead.

But it sounds to me like length is kind of important to you. I think you should wait before BCing and make it a year. Just 3 months to go, you can do it :]

I know what you mean about the two textures because I too am 7 months into the process. I believe that so long as your natural hair is healthy one can hold on a bit longer. If the relaxed ends are beginning to effect the natural hair then they deserve the blade, lol!
