Super dry new growth.. any suggestions?

Okay so ive been transitioning for the past 4 months not and cannot keep my hands out out of my hair! lol i love my new growth and the way the curls feel in my fingers, but it seems that no matter how much i moisterize it, it feels so dry ...

I haven't co washed since Wednesday.. could that be the problem? (i use ORS Olive oil deep conditioner) Also im thinking about using coconut oil.. think that'll work?

Please list any remedies as im sure im not the only one with this problem thx

I had the same problem just in the crown area. I had to clarify my hair. That helped a lot. Now I clarify once a month with a shampoo, and adding baking soda to my co-poo and vinegar rinse everyother week.

Yes, it will. But the smell is gone once your hair is dry.

Try adding honey to your DTs.

My issues with dryness pretty much disappeared when I started DCing once or twice a week
Not just cowashing but actually DCing
