If I cowash more than twice a week, my scalp won't be happy. But my hair loves it. I hope my hair loves this new conditioner I have by garnier fruitis strength & length.

I cowash every 2 - 3 days, mostly because my hair is bright red and I wanna maintain the colour.

About every three days. I just don't want to wash it more than that, so I'm learning how to make it look decent in between washes.

I cowash weekly and shampoo once a month or as needed- which ever comes first. I can't exclusively cowash because my hair gets weird and dull and my scalp gets just itchy and nasty. But I can go at least a month with no shampoo.

Have you tried doing brown sugar scalp scrubs? They really cut through scalp buildup well. Just add 1 tablespoon of brown sugar to the conditioner for one co-wash, then give yourself an extra good scalp massage with it.
