Default CG Help!!!

Hello everyone,

I am wanting to try the CG method. I am 3c/4a texture.

I just spent a lot of money on hair products a few days ago. Of course, this is before finding the curly girl method. I have been using Aussie Moist conditioner in my hair & love the way it detangles. I just bought a big bottle of it.

Is the Aussie Moist okay to use for the CG method? It has a silicone but is it a good silicone?

These are the ingredients:

Ingredients Water, Stearyl Alcohol, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Glutamic Acid, Fragrance, Bis-Aminopropyl Dimethicone,Benzyl Alcohol, Edta, Ecklonia Radiata Extract (Australian Sea Kelp), Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice Extract, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Methylisothiazolinone.

Thanks in advance!

Dimethicone is a no no cone if you're CG. Gotta use sulphates to get it out.

You can also low poo with a shampoo that contains Cocamidopropyl Betaine to remove the Bis-Aminopropyl Dimethicone. It's less harsh than a sulfate poo. Mocha Mom is correct though. Cowashing alone won't remove that particular cone.

Thank you for that tip because I did away with sulfate shampooing & don't want to buy one to bring back into the house.
