Lightbulb Secret: DO NOT RINSE OUT!

Yesterday, I had my hair trimmed and reshaped at a Deva Curl specialized salon. I also got side bangs which are ADORABLE! Anyway, my stylist took a look at my parched curls and said, "This time, let's not rinse out the conditioner, okay?" I thought to myself What!? But, she's the expert, so I let her do her thing. She co-washed my hair, then added the conditioner, and didn't rinse it out. Then she added some gel (or maybe some other styling product) and clipped up my roots. Hooded-drier, then defused it, and I left the salon to go back home. I SOTC and my hair looked FABULOUS! No frizz and flyaway! This never happened to me before!

So, if you find that half-rinsing your conditioner out still leaves your hair slightly dry and frizzy, just don't rinse it out at all!

Yup, the "cg method" works quite well. Though honestly I feel there used to be a time where I could rinse out the conditioner and my hair looked good. I guess it's just spoiled now...

Yes, it is working for me but it didn't at first since my hair needs MEGA moisture. And you know what I just learned? That drying your hair with a towel or what ever else you may use, is the equivalent of rinsing for a second time. No wonder my hair was parched even when I thought I was doing CG right...

So, no more water rinsing or even "sprinkling". I'm going to leave it all in.

Eh. Rinsing out/towel drying are nbd to me. And a good leave-in does me wonders.
