Why has my hair gotten greasier?

I have been completely product free for a few months now. I have used the BS/ACV method a few times. Before I went no poo, my hair wasn't really greasy. Now that I use water only, it has only gotten greasier! My hair is about six inches long. I typically wash every day, sometimes every other day. I towel dry. So I am pretty confused on the matter. I recently realized that the oil may possibly be a result of the fact that I don't brush? Ever. Oh and maybe I should add that I'm a male since you may find the fact that I don't brush sort of...awkward, lol. Anyways thanks in advance!
I was typing something helpful (I think) then I accidentally erased it.. so, Never mind. xD Sorry for wasting your time

Curly and PROUD!!!

My hair has a mix of low/med/high porosity, and it's medium textured (some are still fine, though!)

I think very few people are able to get away with never using product of some sort to wash. Do you detangle when you wash to redistribute the oil? Most of us do not brush, but detangle when wet either with fingers or a wide-tooth comb.
APL 3A
Medium porosity, medium density, medium thickness
Current routine: Daily co-washing with Giovanni conditioner (whatever is on sale), styling with Catwalk Curls Rock Curl Amplifier, and 1-2x per week cleansing with a Chagrin Valley shampoo bar followed by an ACV rinse
I tried no poo for 90 days and my hair never cleared up. It stayed greasy and gross, so it isn't only you
Definitely not you. The hair definitely gets curlier but I'm not fond of the greasier part. The only time I go no shampoo is the day I get it cut. I just have my stylist shampoo after she cuts it.
