Clarify weekly?

Hey everyone. I have yet another question about my hair journey. I wash my hair everyday with conditioner, but I'm noticing the scalp/roots getting greasy/oily, no matter how well I scrub with my fingers. So my question is, can I clarify weekly? I use conditioner in the shower and then hair gel when I come out, and I do this at LEAST 5 days a week. I have fine hair that gets weighed down easily so I never get second day hair and I just wash it daily instead. Anyway, can I use clarifying shampoo once a week? Lately I've been using the As I Am Curl Clarity to clarify, but once every two weeks isnt enough anymore. Or is there a Joico shampoo I can use once a week that anyone can recommend? Looking for any advice to make my roots not greasy and gross :pale: Thanks guys

If your hair is feeling overly greasy within a week's time, clarifying with a low poo is fine. If using it once a week starts leaving your hair feeling a little dry and the dryness isn't corrected by your rinse out, you might consider switching to a gentler one.

Thank you. I used curl clarity by As I Am which has no sulfate so I guess it's considered a low poo

Has anyone tried Shea Moisture African Black Soap shampoo for clarifying/getting rid of product buildup? Curious as to how this works, as I love other SM products I've tried.
