Clarifying conditioner

Going to try V05 Tea Therapy Clarifying Conditioner in Vanilla Mint Tea. It was $.99 at Giant Eagle, didn't smell half bad, and in some non-evidence based practice part of my mind I'm hoping "clarifying conditioner" means "get rid of the funky not quite greasy dirty cant describe it feel" that my hair has as I go through the transitional phase of becoming curly girl. We shall see.

VO5 Vanilla Mint Tea is my very favorite straight conditioner co-wash. Just make sure that you spend e nought time massaging your scalp as you apply co-wash and as you rinse it out. Italy's a huge difference in gunky roots vs non-gunky roots.

Giovanni TTTT conditioner is a very good clarifying co-wash. Now I just add a little baking soda or lemon juice to my conditioner. Works like a charm :-)

Thanks pink. I was thinking about getting that one as a co wash. Now I know what to do with it.

You're welcome. :) The best co-wash I've ever used that really gets the job done is SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Co-Wash. I got it @ Target. :)

Also using lemon juice and honey can lighten the hair overtime.

Please let us know how this turned out ok :)

I love VO5 vanilla mint tea CO. It is one of my fave to co wash with. Good luck!

Do clarifying conditioners actually clarify? I thought it was only called a clarifying conditioner because they come with a set like a clarifying shampoo..
