Cetrimonium Chloride or Potassium Chloride?

Alberto V05 conditioners contain Cetrimonium Chloride as a surfactant, which supposedly can leave a residue or film on hair even after it is rinsed. Suave conditioners contain Potassium Chloride, which is a form of salt, and that can dry out the hair.

I have used Suave Ocean Breeze as a conditioning wash, but notice it starts to dry my hair out after repeated use.

I have also used Alberto V05 conditioners as a co- wash such as Vanilla Mint, Blackberry Sage, Kiwi Lime, and Strawberry, and I also noticed the "film" or residue after repeated use.

I like the Alberto V05 Strawberry as a rinse out conditioner.

I prefer these two brands over the more expensive cleansing creams because my hair is fine, and I don't need emollients.

Anyone else have issues with these brands of conditioners, and if so, is there anything you do to eliminate those issues? Like clarify once a month with baking soda and apple cider rinse?

the suave one i know what you're talking about. Thats why I stopped using them for my rinse outs. They made my hair feel super dry. However I use them as a leave in. My hair seems like like it that way idk why. I haven't felt a film from vo5 but I just started using vo5 this week. I'll update if I feel a film.
What about Inecto? My hair is squeaky clean with that.
