No poo

So I'm new to the cgm. I have 2c hair and today I started using loreal cleansing conditioner. I just don't understand if I'm supposed to do the cowash every day then wash with shampoo like deva curl or what?? And I got miss Jessie's curl pudding...thoughts on that?? Help me please!
It really depends on your hair, your water, your product, and your climate.

A lot of curlies on here cowash exclusively. Others can't cowash at all, or very little. If you have hard water, cowashing will be difficult due to the buildup of minerals on your hair. You can do a combination if you wish.. cowash in between low poos. Doesn't really matter what low poo you use, just as long as it doesn't contain sulfates and doesn't build up on you. The DevaCare Low Poo built up on me due to the polyquats in it, but everybody's hair is different. Try some products out and go as long between washes as you can.

DT: Coconut Oil + scalp massage
OIL/STYLER: SM Elixir / KCCC
COLOR: henna, amla & indigo
If you are going to low poo, I would use the any of the deva line. I've tried others and the dried out my hair leaving me with frizz.

Might I suggest that you go on YouTube and search for videos of ladies with your hair type:

As for me...

I haven't used shampoo since December 2012.

I don't use any kind of towel or a T-shirt to dry my hair, [since water is the best moisturizer/hydration for curly hair, I just squeeze some out of my hair with my hands and apply my products].

I "finger-comb" my hair since January, [tried that wide tooth with the beads on the ends for a month and for some reason my ends split and needed a trim]. Since I went back to finger-combing, my ends are fine.

I started out using Deva Curl No-Poo, Conditioner One, and Heaven In Hair deep conditioner. I think you should as well because her products are good for our hair, [I don't use gels however she does have several "stylers" in her product line.

It's an easy "system", and you will start loving your hair while you search for other products that are more natural and less expensive, [also buy the book, it is soooo encouraging and she doesn't advertise her products in her book].

I hope this helps...
My hair is "exotic, beautiful and free",,,yeah, that be ME!!!
