ACV Wash?

Can someone explain to me how the apple cider vinegar wash works? Do you just pour it over your hair and then let it naturally rinse out...do you let the mixture sit on your hair for a while...do you "rub" in into your scalp?

I wanted to try this but I give the consistency of the mixture it seems as if it will just run right through your hair without much benefit.

You have to dilute. Anywhere from 1:10 to 1:3 vinegar:water. I make a big pitcher full and slowly pour it over my hair, very gently smoothing it over. Then rinse. Then do more. At some point I baggy it up for a few minutes w/ some of the vinegar rinse in it. Then rinse it all out and condition as normal.

I've used all types of vinegar. And ACV is not my favorite for this. There is too much sediment in ACV for my liking. I prefer white vinegar. But whatever...personal preference.
