What did you learn from the Curly Girl Challenge?
I wore my hair in pony tails and head bands for years due to a lack of curly hair know how. I knew so little that I didn't even know I had curly hair. My hair was very long, and the poor maintenance (I used to cut my own hair - shriek!) wasn't showing off what my hair had to offer. A good hair cut and a Curly Girl Challenge, courtesy of my favorite local salon, and ahhhhhAHHHHHahhhhhhh. Hark, the harold AnGell sings! My hair is curly. Beautiful, perfect, envy-worthy curly. My lovely locks form beautiful, effortless spirals that shine for days. I learned that I have beautiful, naturally curly hair, and I learned to love my beautiful, naturally curly hair.
How has it changed your hair?
My hair is adequately hydrated without the weight that most products add. In a climate as ever changing and often anti-curl as Cleveland, Ohio, it's important to work with the weather. AnGell and Set it Free work well together for highly customizable hold and hydration without weight or frizz. I no longer fear dry winters or humid summers. Mother Nature, bring it on! After a good No-Poo wash and One Condition rinse, a little AnGell and Set it Free give my curls the moisture they crave, the lightweight hold they need, and shine for days. Forget about hair that goes flat before the end of the day - my hair could go three days and still look perfect. My hair always looks happy and bouncy and healthy, and it only takes about 5-10 minutes in the morning. Does life get any better? There is no simpler happiness than a good hair day every day.
