What did you learn from the Curly Girl Challenge?

That 99% of my bad hair days was due to using the wrong product, and product buildup. I especially like cleaning my hair with baking soda diluted in warm water, this works WONDERS! I recommend this book to absolutely everyone!

How has it changed your hair?

Having moved from New York City to live in Miami, especially, presented a challenge. The frizz and humidity factor (as well as the pinnacle of beauty always being presented as straight hair, no matter what), initially drove me nuts. My curls went from over-dried frizz to healthy and well-defined, regardless of the weather. I get asked on a daily basis where I bought my "wig" because my curls behave so well.
