What did you learn from the Curly Girl Challenge?

I learned to laugh every time that I saw a commercial or tv show bash curly hair. I learned what it means to embrace inner beauty. I learned that it's okay to be different. I learned that we are all made beautiful by God, but sometimes you just need a little dedication and education to get your hairs cooperation. I finally learned to love myself, curls and all.

How has it changed your hair?

Before the I started using the Curly Girl method, my hair was always frizzy, and my curls were limp and dull. This method has changed my hair dramatically. The biggest difference that I noticed was the curl formation. My curls are bouncy and so pretty now! Also, my hair is softer than ever and it is extremely shiny. I never thought that my hair would look this good, and I'm ecstatic that I found Lorraine's book and took her advice!
