 What did you learn from the Curly Girl Challenge?

For me, curly hair has always been a challenge. I never knew what products to use, how to style it, etc. After reading the Curly Girl book and using the products, I realized that I was actually harming my hair. When using the right tools and products, I was amazed by how my hair could change. It is well worth the extra 20 minutes I need in the morning to look fabulous!

How has it changed your hair?

The pictures say it all! I've actually been using the products for just over a year. I received the trial kit as a gift, and I even watched the instructional DVD! Before using the products, the ends of my hair would constantly oxidize and I couldn't understand why. It would also grow to just about past my shoulders and start thinning out at the ends. To fix this I just kept cutting it. Well, after using Deva products for only a few months, I saw a difference. My hair no longer oxidized (I later figured out it was the mousse I was using) and my hair, especially the ends, was healthier and curlier than ever. I will never use anything other than Deva products again!
