What did you learn from the Curly Girl Challenge?

I learned that lathering agents destroy the curl pattern. I learned that there are safe, conditioning alternatives to cleansing the hair. I learned that curly hair is starving for moisture and that frizz is a way of your hair screaming for relief from whatever it is you are doing to it.

How has it changed your hair?

My curls last longer and are very shiny. My hair looks good whether it is down or up. I receive compliments all the time on my hair. People love the way my hair smells and feels. The Deva products are reasonable in price and I tend to use less overall product due to the superb quality these products impart onto my hair. My hair has never been healthier. Thanks, Deva! :)
