New Years Eve Natural in Virginia

The plan was for my suave and debonair date to meet me at 6PM for our Cape Verde New Year's Eve party but last minute I decided to take my neighbor to the mall. Well my hair had been under a scarf all day because we had come directly from mosque (where I was covered.) I had planned on washing and conditioning my do to bring to life new fresh curls but alas, we took too long in the mall and my date had sent me panicked texts when he found out I was in the mall at 5:30. At home, I unwrapped my hair, threw some Shea Moisture Curl Enhancing Smoothie on my hair and fingered it out and shook it. And wha-la! I donned my sequined jacket and legging ensemble and we were off to Arlington. I danced all night and never worried about a hair being out of place-- natural is the way to go!
